Case filed against man for making derogatory remarks about martyred Indian soldiers
Patna, Sept 21 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): Police in Bihar have registered a case against a man claiming to be an RJD leader after he made derogatory remarks about Indian soldiers who laid down their lives fighting the terrorists, on his social media site.
Shiv Narayan Yadav, who claimed to be a RJD leader, blamed the killing of soldiers in Uri terrorist attack on their “illegal appointments” in the Army, while expressing happiness over their supreme sacrifice. He added the “terrorists did the right thing by eliminating them”.
“We are conducting raids to arrest the absconding accused. He will be arrested very soon,” Patna’s senior superintendent of police Manu Maharaj told the media on Wednesday.
The RJD has denied he was a member of the party.
“This guy is anti-national, has no association with the RJD. An FIR is being lodged against him. He would be jailed,” Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav wrote on his Twitter post.
Tejashwi who is son of RJD president Lalu Prasad further accused the BJP/RSS of “maligning” the RJD saying, “There is no such person in RJD”.
At least 18 Indian Army soldiers were killed when the terrorists attacked an army base camp at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, sparking nation-wide protest. Of the total dead, 15 were from the Bihar regiment.
