Cauvery dispute: SC to hear case on July 11
New Delhi, Mar 22 (IBNS): The Supreme Court has fixed July 11 as the final hearing date of the ongoing Cauvery water dispute case, involving neighbouring states Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, reports said.
A division bench of Justices Dipak Misra, Amitava Roy and A.M. Khanwilkar will hear the case for 15 consecutive working days, starting from July 11, a report in The Hindu read.
Meanwhile, the apex court has asked Karnataka to release 2,000 cusecs of Cauvery water to neighbouring Tamil Nadu, the report added.
