China: Factory fire kills 18
Beijing, Nov 17 (IBNS): At least 18 people were killed in east China's Shandong Province after a food company caught fire caught fire on Sunday, media reports said on Monday.
The incident left 13 people injured.
"The fire broke out at 7 p.m. Sunday at a carrot packaging workshop of Longyuan Food Co., Ltd in Shouguang City, a town known for its greenstuff. It was put out at around 9:30 p.m," Xinhua reported.
Authorities have started investigating the cause of the fire.
