Class ten student of Gurgaon confined in Delhi flat, gang-raped for two days
New Delhi, Aug 11 (IBNS) : The parade of incidents of violence against women in the national capital continues as a 16-year-old girl has been gang-raped for two days allegedly by two men in a south Delhi flat.
Media reports quoted police as saying that class 10 student, who hails from Gurgaon was allegedly held captive in the Kalkaji flat on Saturday and Sunday by accused Karan Singh and Sanjay Kumar who gang-raped her while two of their associates filmed the entire act on mobile phones.
The victim, who was released on Monday, lodged a complaint along with her parents with Badshahpur police station and a medical test on her confirmed rape.
According to police, Karan, a native of Palra village, was known to the girl, while Sanjay was a native of Dhani Shkohpur. Their associates, Mahesh and Kala, were residents of Karan's village.
According to the victim, Karan had picked her up from a Gurgaon bus stand on Saturday and took her to Kalkaji temple on his motorcycle. Then he took her to a flat where three of his friends joined him.
While Karan and Sanjay took turns to rape her, Mahesh and Kala filmed the act and threatened the teenager against reporting the crime to anyone.
A case under several sections has started, but no arrests have so far been reported.
