Congress mocks PM over black money disclosure
New Delhi, Mar 16 (IBNS) The Indian National Congress on Wednesday mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his 2014 election campaign slogan pertaining to the return of black money.
In a tweet, the INC wrote: "They promised to give every citizen 15 lakh INR, the voluntary disclosed amount of black money so far is 2476 crore INR. By that standard every Indian should get at least Rs 20, but did it come?"
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his national election campaign in 2014 had attacked the Congress, the then central government over their black money policy and said that if in power the BJP will work towards retrieving the black money.
