Former Apprentice participant files defamation suit against Trump
Washington, Jan 18 (IBNS): Summer Zarvos, a former participant in the American reality show Apprentice, has filed a defamation suit against US President-elect Donald Trump, after the later failed to retract his words, media reports said.
Zarvos had alleged earlier that the to be President of the United States had forced himself upon her in 2007, during her stint with the show.
She also slammed Trump as a 'liar and misogynist', who 'debased and denigrated' her.
"Since Mr Trump has not issued a retraction, as I requested, he has therefore left me with no alternative but to sue him in order to vindicate my reputation," Zarvos told journalist in Los Angeles.
Trump is set to take oath as the 45th President of the United States of America and resume office on Jan 20.
