India disappointed over US decision to sell F-16 aircrafts to Pakistan
New Delhi, Feb 13 (IBNS): India on Saturday expressed its displeasure over America's decision to sell eight F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan.
India said it disagrees with the rationale that such arm transfers help to combat terrorism.
"We are disappointed at the decision of the Obama Administration to notify the sale of F-16 aircrafts to Pakistan," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said in a statement.
"We disagree with their rationale that such arms transfer help to combat terrorism," he said.
"The US Ambassador will be summoned by the Ministry of External Affairs to convey our displeasure," he said.
