Indian Mujahideen co-founder calls wife from Hyderabad jail, flaunts IS links
Hyderabad/New Delhi, July 4 (IBNS) Indian Mujahideen terror outfit co-founder Yasin Bhatkal has made calls to his wife from the highly-security Hyderabad jail, said media reports quoting police sources in Delhi.
Police said Bhatkal also told his wife from the jail that he would be out of the jail with the help of Islamic State, the world's most dreaded terror outfit now.
He reportedly told his wife that he is getting help from Damascus.
Authorities are worried that Bhatkal could get hold of a mobile phone inside the jail.
Yasin Bhatkal or Mohammed Ahmed Siddibappa is one of the founding leaders of the banned Indian Mujahideen (IM). He was listed on the NIA Most Wanted until his arrest on the India-Nepal border near Motihari, Bihar on 28 August 2013.
Yasin undertook arms and explosive training in Pakistan in 2006 to launch terror attacks.
