It is believed today that 21st century belongs to India: Narendra Modi
San Jose, Sept 28 (IBNS) :Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian community at a packed SAP Center and said it is believed that the 21st century belongs to India.
Modi said Indians, who are contributing in the world of IT, have changed the perception of the world towards India.
"It is being believed today that the 21st century is India's century," Modi said while addressing the Indian community.
"Today, India has a new image and an identity...Your fingers created magic on the keyboard and the computer and this gave India a new identity," Modi said.
Modi said he believes in the concept of 'brain gain' and 'brain deposit'.
Amid cheering and 'Modi Modi' chants, the Prime Minister said,"We would hear- we need to stop this brain drain. But India is Bahuratna Vasundhara, there will be many brains there...I believe in the concept of brain deposit. When the oppurtunity will come you all will contribute to the service of Mother India and that too with interest."
Modi said he has faith in the nation because 'India is youthful'.
Modi said terror and global warming are two pressing issues that the world is currently facing.
"We need to mitigate these two menaces," he said.
He said after coming to power at the Centre, he is trying to fulfill the 'responsibility' given to him by the people of India.
