J&K:Policeman injured in militant firing
Srinagar, May 29 (IBNS): Militants on Friday struck again as they fired at the police guard posted outside a bank in Shopian town of Kashmir, injuring the policeman and decamping with his service rifle.
A police official said that a bullet hit his hand when he tried to resist the snatching away of his service rifle.
The injured cop of Jammu and Kashmir police was immediately evacuated to a hospital.

A search operation was launched and the entire area was cordoned off to search for the gunmen.
