Kejriwal prescribes 5 antidotes for peace in India, urges PM to follow them.
New Delhi, Apr 15 (IBNS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who addressed a congregation in the national capital on Thursday to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, prescribed five steps for the Prime Minister to ensure peace in the country.
Kejriwal said, "I humbly asked our Prime Minister to follow these basic steps. Number one, please unfollow people who abuse and terget women and children on social platforms."
Demanding the ouster of Smriti Irani and Bandaru Dattatreya, he said, "Please expel those two ministers who are responsible for the death of Rohith Vemula."
Vemula, a Hyderabad University student, belonging to the backward class, had committed suicide inside the varsity campus earlier this year, creating a huge uproar in the country.
Listing his third point, Kejriwal said, "please stop toppling elected governments in several states. Stop this back door entry politics of yours. if you want to rule, contest an election, win and then rule peacefully."
The Delhi CM, who has been at loggerheads with the central government, ever since the latter was elected, said, "Stop meddling with Delhi and its government. the people of Delhi are very happy with their government. Let us work."
Finally, he demanded that people who are threatening others to do things against their will be thrown into jail.
"We have this situation where some people are forcing us to either say Bharat Mata ki Jai or thrashing us, they are imposing control on what we can consume and what cannot be taken, this isn't right. From now on, if such things happen, please send these people to jail," the Delhi CM said.
