Kolkata: Worker dies while dismantling Mamata's swearing-in stage at Red Road
Kolkata, May 28 (IBNS): After the Mamata-led TMC government's swearing-in-ceremony was over on Friday, a middle-aged worker was killed on Saturday morning, while dismantling the temporary structure of the dais on Red Road in Kolkata, reports said.
According to reports, while the man was dismantling a panel at the swearing-in venue, he suddenly fell down from the dais. He was immediately taken to SSKM hospital, where the man was declared brought dead.
According to police reports, the killed worker has been identified as Gautam Naskar (40), who was a resident of Baruipur in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district.
The disassembling of temporary dais at Red Road is currently underway. The road will be opened for vehicles fromSunday early morning.
