Lok Sabha again in turmoil, Speaker ignores to conduct business
New Delhi, Aug 11 (IBNS) The Lok Sabha on Tuesday once again plunged into the unabated ruckus created by the Congress-led opposition that continued protests against the government over the Lalit Modi controversy and Vyapam scam.
Despite the pandemonium, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan continued with the Question Hour even as Congress members kept shouting slogans.
As unrelenting Opposition members refused to relent, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said the government was ready to discuss all issues.
He said the Lalit Modi controversy and the opposition demand for External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's
resignation raised by the Opposition "is just an excuse, they want to stop GST Bill."
The Congress has also been demanding the resignation of Rajasthan Chieusedf Minister Vasundhara Raje on the same issue and that of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan over the Vyapam scam.
Earlier, the Speaker rejected notices for adjournment motions moved by various members that sought an immediate discussion on the Lalit Modi controversy.

For about three weeks since the Monsoon session began not a single business was transacted in both houses of parliament with the opposition raising continuous uproars each day to press for their demand.
