Modi arrives in South Korea
Seoul, South Korea, May 18 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in South Korea on Monday morning on the last leg of his three-nation tour.
Modi, looking for strengthening economic and trade relation with Sout Korea will hold talks with President Park Geun-hye on bilateral, regional and global issues. A number of agreements are expected to be signed.
Bilateral trade between India and South Korea is about 16 billion dollars which both the countries want to increase substantially.
The PM will pitch for Korean investment in India when he addresses the India-Republic of Korea CEOs Forum.
He will also meet the heads of several Korean companies that want to invest in India or have already invested.
Modi is scheduled tol visit the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard, with shipbuilding emerging as an important area of cooperation between the two countries.
Before he begins talks with the South Korean President, Modi will address a reception hosted by the Indian community.
