Odisha court sentences 5 to death for murdering a minor
Bhubaneswar, Nov 24 (IBNS) A local court in Odisha on Tuesday sent five persons on death row, pertaining to gangrape and murder of a minor in 2012, according to reports.
It was reported that the girl, who had gone out for tuition on the morning of the event, had not returned home by evening, calling for a frantic search by his friends and family.
Her body was later found out, a kilometer away from her residence, with cut marks on them.
Although Champua Additional District and Session Judge Court handed over the verdict to these five people, two convicts have eluded justice as they are yet to be nabbed.
