Pakistani terrorist, captured in Jammu questioned all night
Jammu, Aug 6 (IBNS) The Pakistani terrorist captured on Wednesday after an attack on a BSF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district was interrogated through the night, reports said.
The terrorist, Mohammad Naved, will be questioned by top police officers in Jammu on Thursday.
Naved was caught hours after he and his companion, Noman, attacked a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy on a highway near Udhampur, killing two soldiers. Noman was also killed when BSF men fired back.
He has reportedly told interrogators he is from Faislabad in Pakistan.
Naved fled into a forest nearby, taking three villagers hostage. He was overpowered by the unarmed villagers when he started firing from a hilltop school.
In a "confession" recorded on a cellphone soon after he was caught and tied with rope, Naved said he started for India 12 days ago and had been in the country for two days.
Pakistan has yet to comment on the terrorist.
