PM Modi pays tribute to Swami Dayananda Saraswati

New Delhi, Feb 12 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid homage to Swami Dayananda Saraswati on his birth anniversary.

"Dayananda Saraswati ji made a remarkable contribution to education. His emphasis on social reform made him a personality ahead of his time," Modi tweeted.

Swami Dayananda Saraswati was a Hindu religious leader.

He had founded the  Arya Samaj, a Hindu reform movement of the Vedic tradition.
