Haldia : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday placed six guarantees before the people of poll-bound West Bengal, pitching an alternative to the ruling Trinamool Congress government.
With the state heading into a two-phase Assembly election later this month, Modi addressed mega rallies in Haldia, Asansol, and Siuri.
Besides targeting the TMC regime, the Prime Minister outlined key measures that the Bharatiya Janata Party would implement if voted to power for the first time in the state.
PM Modi’s 6 Guarantees for West Bengal
- Law and Order: BJP government will replace fear with trust and restore faith in law enforcement.
- Accountability: The governance system will be made accountable and people-centric.
- Justice: All major scams, corruption cases, and crimes against women—including rape cases—will be reopened and investigated.
- Anti-Corruption: Strict action will be taken against corruption, ensuring no offender escapes the law.
- Immigration: Genuine refugees will receive constitutional rights, while illegal infiltrators will be identified and deported.
- Employee Benefits: The 7th Pay Commission will be implemented for state government employees.
