Kolkata, Feb 16 (IBNS): The Kolkata High Court on Monday granted conditional bail to ex-IPS officer and senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Rajat Majumder.
The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) arrested Rajat Majumder on Sept 9 last year in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam.
Rajat's lawyers plead for their clients bail on Wednesday and the judge of Kolkata High Court Shubhrakamal Mukherjee granted the appeal.

The High Court has given him some conditions, like he can't move outside Kolkata without permission, he has to appear in local police station once in a week, he has to submit his passport and other documents to local police station, he can't leave India and has to attend CBI office whenever this probe agency calls him.
