Second terror attack in Paris, shots fired at cops
Paris, Jan 8 (IBNS): After the horrifying attack on a satirical magazine in Paris killing several journalists a day ago by suspected Islamic radicals, another attack was reported in the French capital on Thursday.
Reports said shots were fired at police in southern suburb of Paris. The incident occurred at Montrouge. Two cops were injured in the firing.
So far seven arrests have been made in the massacre at the office of Charlie Hebdo magazine, while more are being hunted.
Paris is under maximum terror alert as France observes national day of mourning.
Earlier, one of the three suspected gunmen, who had carried out a brutal attack on the Paris office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday, has surrended, media reports said.
The police have launched a massive manhunt for the suspected gunmen who killed 12 people during the attack.
The police have released photos of two brothers wanted as suspects in connection to the deadly attack on the office of the magazine.
The two suspected gunmen were identified as Cherif Kouachi and Said, media reports said.
