Security heightened along Wagah border following warning against Taliban suicide attack
New Delhi, Aug 13 (IBNS) : India and Pakistan have tightened security along the Wagah border after Islamabad sounded an alert against a possible suicide attack by Taliban, reports said on Saturday.
A counter-terrorism agency has issued two alerts to India warning about the possible infiltration of two Taliban suicide bombers at Wagah.
With a special security measure already being underway before the Independence Day, reinforcement of BSF has been rushed to the Wagah border.
The reports said the Tehreek-i-Taliban's Fazalullah group plans to target parade at Wagah Border in Lahore and Ganda Singh Border in Kasur on August 13, 14 or 15 necessitating extreme vigilance and heightened security measures.
