Truck hits 12 vehicles on Mumbai-Pune Expressway; triggers huge jam
Mumbai: At least four people were injured when a truck's brakes failed and collided with at least 12 other vehicles on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Thursday, media reports said.
Media reports said the accident has caused a huge jam on the arterial road connecting Pune with India's financial capital Mumbai.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred near Maharashtra's Khopoli which led to at least seven to eight vehicles colliding with each other.
Videos from the accident site showed mangled and wrecked cars on the road and injured people seated inside an ambulance.

However, no casualties have been reported so far.
This accident comes close to another incident that occurred earlier this month in which a speeding car hit a stationary truck on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Four people had been killed in the previous incident, according to reports.
