Trump asks senators to concentrate on ISIS, illegal immigration
Washington, Jan 30 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump has asked senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham to concentrate on the ISIS and illegal immigration instead of 'looking to start World War III'.
The President slammed the two senators after they openly protested Trump's executive order of banning people from seven countries to the US.
"We fear this executive order will become a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism," a joint statement from McCain and Graham read.
The US President took to Twitter to vent anger against the senators.
"The joint statement of former presidential candidates John McCain & Lindsey Graham is wrong - they are sadly weak on immigration. The two senators should focus their energies on ISIS, illegal immigration and border security instead of always looking to start World War III," his tweet read.
Meanwhile, Trump's move has drawn widespread criticism from several corners of the world, with many taking to the streets to protest against him.
