Two ISIS sympathisers brought to Kochi
Kochi, July 25 (IBNS): Two ISIS sympathisers, Arshid Qureshi and Rizwan Khan have been brought to Kochi on Sunday amid tight security, where police will produce them in court on Monday and seek their custody, reports said.
They are yet to admit the charges brought upon them. The two are believed to be involved in the rechristening and forced conversion of several youths and also with their disappearance.
"Preliminary investigations have shown that the arrested persons were allegedly encouraging people to engage in pro-ISIS activities. They were primarily involved in indoctrinating people with their ideologies," the Times of India quoted NIA sources.
Reports have suggested almost 800 conversions that the duo are involved in.
