Yeddyurappa doesn't want to join Modi's Cabinet
Bangalore, May 22 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP BS Yeddyurappa has written to Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi that he does not want a Cabinet berth at the Centre and that instead, he wants to strengthen the party in Karnataka.
"You further expressed that since the expectations and aspirations are too high across the country, at least a few capable leaders must come forward to take the responsibility and work towards strengthening the party in their respective states," said the former Karnataka chief minister.
"As you expressed in general, I voluntarily and wholeheartedly offer my willingness to work towards strengthening the party in Karnataka," he said.
Pertinently, Yeddyurappa won by a huge margin from the Shimoga Lok Sabha constituency.
