The Kabuliwala of Kolkata
The Kabuliwala of Kolkata, a photo exhibition about a community in Indias eastern city longing for Afghanistan that once was home, is travelling from Kabul to Kolkata, evoking strong emotional response from viewers. Inspired by Indian historic literature about the community, Moska Najib and Nazes Afroz, two photo-journalists, documented their lives in images over the course of two years and here share their experience in first person accounts.

LFW: Sabyasachi unleashes bonanza of resort wear
Mumbai, Mar 18 (IBNS) : The venue was unconventional the fabulous rustic grounds of Richardson and Cruddas Mills in the heart of Mumbai. The ramp was a never ending 200 x 20 feet, with high-tech multi laser lights, roving drone and camera mounted on gantry. It was the backdrop for a high octane event with the crme de la crme of the city in attendance as one of the best designers in India opened the celebrations of 15 years of fashion in India pioneered by Lakm, with a spectacular show.
Kolkata treated to Sufi Sutra
Sufi Sutra is an annual three day peace music festival held in Kolkata that brings about convergence of ideas on truth, harmony, peace and divinity. The cultural dialogues have developed mutual knowledge on world Sufi and traditional music and created scopes for performances to the visiting countries augmenting livelihood for the rural artists from India. Presented by Banglanatak dot com from Feb 6 to 8 at Mohar Kunj in Kolkata, it was participated by groups like Projeto Sarava from Brazil, Seranas from Denmark, Mawlawiyah from Egypt, Hadarrattes Souiriyattes from Morocco,Sidi Goma from Gujarat, the Langas from Rajasthan, besides Folks of Bengal from West Bengal.

Cherry Blossoms time in Taiwan
Every year from February till April, cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Flowers through Taiwan flourish successively with a rich and diverse range of species. From north to south, major events integrate the cherry blossom season with the local cultural characteristics. The cherry blossoms found in Taiwan generally originate from other countries, with the majority from Japan, as Taiwan was once a colony of Japan. Due to the high status of cherry blossoms in Japan, traces of the flower were evident in areas throughout Taiwan. In recent years, the cherry blossom season has become an important festivity in Taiwan.
