After Moga another bus molestation allegation in Punjab
Khanna, Punjab, May 4 (IBNS) As the incident of death of a teenager girl, who was molested and thrown off a moving bus, another woman was allegedly harassed in a private bus on Sunday.
Reports said the the incident took place in Khanna, around two hours from Moga, where the 14-year-old girl was killed on Wednesday.
The woman passenger was allegedly harassed by the man sitting next to her and even when she complained, the bus driver and conductor allegedly let the man escape. The woman then called the police helpline.
"I was molested. I asked for help but the conductor and driver didn't help me. They didn't even stop the bus," the woman said.
The police detected bus and arrested the driver and conductor. However, the man who allegedly harassed the woman is yet to be apprehended.
The state's Akali Dal government has been in the centre of a controversy as the bus linked to Wednesday's Moga molestation and death belongs to a company owned by Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal's family.
