Bihar: After alcohol, siren gets a ban
Patna, Dec 29 (IBNS) To curb the rising noise pollution in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday ordered ban on sirens in all VIP's vehicles except those of the Governor, the High Court Chief Justice, ambulances and fire tenders, according to reports.
The new implementation is likely to see hooters removed from all VVIP's and VIP's vehicles.
Kumar also ordered against frequent and unnecessary blaring of horns by other vehicles.
