New Delhi, July 18 (IBNS): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati, who threw a tantrum in the Rajya Sabha for not allowing her to speak out, declared on Tuesday that she is going to resign in protest, media reports said.
“If I am not allowed to speak, I will resign right now. I will come and give my resignation at this moment,” Mayawati told reporters after she stormed out of the House.

She walked out of the House and then while interacting with the media, announced her decision to quit. .
Mayawati is a Rajya Sabha MP from Uttar Pradesh.
