India will always be thankful to Ambedkar, says PM Modi
New Delhi, Dec 6 (IBNS): Paying homage to Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his death anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the nation will always be thankful to the former for his services.
"I bow to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his Nirvan Divas. India will always be thankful to Babasaheb for his rich service to the nation," the Prime Minister's tweet read.
Ambedkar, hailed as the architect of the Indian Constitution, was independent India's first Law Minister.
He received the Bharat Ratna, India's highest honour, posthumously in 1990.
