Major landslide at Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Mumbai, Aug 7 (IBNS) A major landslide occurred at the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Thursday night, reports said.

The landslide was reported near the Adoshi tunnel near  Lonavala.

No injuries have been reported in the incident.

This is the second incident of landslide on the stretch in less than a month.  On July 20, three people were killed after a landslide on the expressway. 

The cause of the landslides is being attributed to continuous rains that has loosened the soil.
