#Meeting with Vladimir Putin was fruitful: Modi

Moscow, Dec 24 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin for a private dinner and a tete-e-tete on Wednesday and said the meeting was 'fruitful'.

"Met President Putin and discussed India-Russia ties. The meeting was fruitful," Modi tweeted after the meeting.

He reached Russia on Wednesday.

Modi got a red-carpet reception at the Vnukovo airport here.

This is the first time Modi is visiting Russia after becoming the Prime Minister in 2014.
