Nawaz Sharif seeks US help to resolve issues between India,Pakistan
New York, Sept 20 (IBNS): Meeting US US Secretary of State John Kerry, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif urged him to help resolve issues with India.
“Pakistan has always fought terrorism as a moral obligation. I have always reached out to neighboring countries for regional peace, stability and prosperity,” Sharif was quoted as saying by Dawn News.
"“I expect the US administration and Secretary Kerry to use his good offices to help resolve issues between Pakistan and India," he said.
Sharif is currently visiting New York to attend the 71st UN General Assembly session.
He reached the city on Sunday.
