Nobody has the right to call us intolerant: Anupam Kher
New Delhi, Nov 7 (IBNS) In a move to counter the protests flooding the country against intolerance in India, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, who is leading an anti-protest march on Saturday in the National capital, 'March For India', said that no one has the right to call the country intolerant.
Speaking to TV reporters here, Kher said, "India is a very very tolerant country and nobody has the right to call us intolerant."
Stressing on India's secular stand, he said, "We are secular people and do not believe in pseudo-secularism, I do not believe that we need to learn secularism from any other country."
"Every country has its problem, but to term it as intolerant is not the right thing," Kher said.
Taking a dig at those who have returned the award, he said, "People have a habit of hiding their flaws by blaming others."
"We are all Indians and should work together," Kher said.
