Rahul, Mamata condole Om Puri's death
New Delhi/Kolkata, Jan 6 (IBNS): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday condoled the death of veteran actor Om Puri.
"One of the finest talents of Indian cinema & theatre, Mr Om Puri will live on through the many unforgettable characters he brought to life," Gandhi's tweet read.
Puri, 66, died following a massive heart attack.
Mamata Banerjee tweeted, "Saddened at sudden passing of Om Puri Ji. His acting skills were appreciated around the world. Condolences to family, friends fraternity."
