Terror funding : NIA continues raids in Kashmir
Srinagar, Sep 7 (IBNS) : Continuing its crackdown on the terror funding of Kashmir Separatists, National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted fresh searches at nine locations in Jammu and Kashmir as part of its probe on Thursday morning.
According to reports, NIA carried out raids at nine locations in four districts of Kashmir valley in connection with terror funding cases that allegedly involve various hurriyat and business leaders.
The NIA raided the residence of Hurriyat leader Aga Hassan in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
On Wednesday, the NIA carried out searches at eleven places in various parts of the valley and five places in Delhi.
Searches were conducted in houses and business establishments of those suspected of channelising funds to fuel unrest in the Kashmir Valley.
The NIA is said to be probing all aspects of funding to the separatist leaders and how they reportedly used these funds to foment unrest in the valley.
