Two patients die in Telengana hospital fire
Hyderabad, Oct 17 (IBNS) : Two patients died in a fire after a nitrogen cylinder exploded in a super speciality hospital in Telengana's Warangal district on Monday evening, media reports said.
Over 400 people, including 190 patients, were rescued. Many of the patients were in the intensive care unit, the reports quoted police as saying.
However, two patients died of asphyxiation.
According to reports, the nitrogen cylinder burst in the second floor of Rohini Super Speciality Hospital in Hanmakonda town causing a fire that soon spread to other floors.
