Will PM Modi speak extempore on I-Day?
New Delhi, Aug 14 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to speak extempore in his first Independence Day speech at the Red Fort on Friday, reports said.
If that happens, Modi will probably be the first Indian prime minister to address the nation through his speech without any script.
The PM’s speech is likely to continue for 45 minutes to an hour.
Sources said Modi will arrive at the venue at around 7.20 am on Friday where he will unfurl the tricolour after a scheduled guard of honour by the three armed forces.
