Kolkata: Aditya School of Sports launches Masterclass with Michael Clarke

Kolkata, May 18 (IBNS): Newly opened sports academy in Kolkata, Aditya School of Sports has joined hands with Michael Clarke Cricket Academy in Sydney for a training program for young cricketing talent in the country under the personal guidance of the Australian cricketing maestro and former World Cup winning captain, Michael Clarke himself.

The 12 day long program will involve boys and girls traveling to Sydney, and learn finer nuances of the game.

 The first batch of cricketers set to hit the Aussie shores in July 1st week.

Speaking at the press conference held on Thursday, Anirban Aditya, Chairman Aditya Group said: “We are very happy and excited to bring forth this opportunity to the budding cricket talent in the country exclusively through Aditya School of Sports. It is our endeavor to promote sports talent in the city and at the grass roots and we shall extend all support required to bring forth talented boys and girls in the sporting arena.”

“This 12 days training under Michael Clarke is a very unique opportunity for the students here and we welcome all to participate in the same. Not only does ASOS provide best in class coaching an infrastructure but also help nurture a child grow in all aspect of life,” added Ankit Aditya, Vice Chairman – Aditya Group.

 
Both Anirban and Clarke spoke about the opportunity and the personal attention that will be given to all the students. 
 
The students will be exposed to an environment where they can learn about the game and various other skills to enhance their sporting ability. This opportunity would be open to probable candidates across India, Nepal and Bangladesh.

 Talking about the collaboration Michael Clarke said: “I am very happy and excited to host young boys and girls from India,Bangladesh and Nepal contribute to their cricketing career in whatever manner possible. As I always say it is about improving everyday no matter what discipline you are in and my goal will be to ensure that at the end of the day each individual is better than yesterday and satisfied with his/her work. When they leave the MCCA facility on the 13th day they should be a better cricketer but more importantly a better person. I would like to thank all those involved in making this possible especially Aditya Group and my management team DunamisSportainment.”

The other important facet would be developing and honing leadership skills along with media management. Stress on developing communication skills would be part of these 12 days training. Every student will be taken care of in the best way.

Students will not only focus on cricket but also have some fun during the 12 days as they will train and tour the iconic SCG along with other tourist attractions of Sydney.
