Former Union Minister Vasan quits Congress, launches new party

Chennai, Nov 3 (IBNS): In a fresh jolt to Congress, former Union Minister GK Vasan quit party on Monday and announced the re-launching of Tamil Maanila Congress, founded by his father GK Moopanar, himself a senior Congress leader in 1996, media reported.
