Section 124A dealing with Sedition law should be retained, says Law Commission
New Delhi : The Law Commission of India (LCI) in its latest report said section 124A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) dealing with sedition law should be retained with certain safeguards to prevent its misuse and also suggested an enhancement in punishment.
