Class 1 student allegedly sexually assaulted in Kolkata school
Kolkata, Nov 10 (IBNS): After Bengaluru, its Kolkata. Again a girl student allegedly became the victim of sexual harassment in school itself, media reported.
According to TV reports, a class one girl student of renowned private institution, GD Birla school was allegedly sexually harassed inside the school premises.
According to one source, the incident occurred on Saturday, when the girl went to toilet.
Some other sources claimed, the girl was assaulted last Monday in the school bus by the driver and the helper.
It has been learnt that the school administration didn't pay attention to the allegations.
According to media reports, the girl's parents alleged that the school is trying to cover the issue.
They also said that school administration didn't take any action against the accused duo.
School, has reportedly even put pressure on the parents not to disclose the matter to anyone.
On Monday, the parents of the child and other students protested outside the school premises and also gheraoed the Vice-principal.
Police is investigating the matter.
