Don't waste your vote, BJP will waive-off farmer loans, provide home to everyone by 2022 : PM Modi in Uttar Pradesh
Rohaniya, Uttar Pradesh, Mar 6 (IBNS) : Making the last, but most vocal pitch for people's mandate before the final phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged the people not to waste their votes on the Samajwadi Party, while lavishing a slew of promises.
According to reports, the PM, while addressing an election rally at Rohiniya near Varanasi, promised that the BJP will waive-off farmer loans, double their income, provide home and gas connection to everyone by 2022, once it comes to power in UP.
"“Do you trust the bua, bhatija or friend of bhatija,”, says PM Modi referring to Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav. This is the time to get rid of SP, BSP, Congress and secure the future of UP youth."
"The UP Government is anti-farmer. Why is it that farmers don't benefit from the Fasal Bima Yojana? Why they don't help farmers in distress ?", he asked.
"We are going to form the Government in UP and in first meeting we will take the decision to waive-off farmer loans," Modi said.
"BJP has set a goal of providing housing to poorest of the poor in the country. Also, we want to double farmer’s income by 2022."
The PM said his Government has formulated a new scheme to replace the old pumps used by farmers with new ones for free.
"If we want to bring a change in our country then we have to bring a change in lives of our farmers," he said.
