Jodhpur court to rule on Salman Khan black buck case
Jodhpur, Feb 25 (IBNS): A court in Jodhpur will rule on Wednesday if Bollywood actor Salman Khan was guilty or not of illegal arms possession in the case of endangered black buck and chinkara hunting about 16 years ago during a film shoot in Rajasthan.
The court will decide if Khan had used illegal arms to poach the endangered deer.

The superstar was accused of hunting a black buck in Rajasthan  while he and other actors were shooting for the film "Hum Saath Saath Hain".

Besides Salman Khan, other actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam were also facing charges earlier.

Salman  twice spent time in the Jodhpur jail in 2006 and 2007 in the cases.

On 24 July 2012, Rajasthan High Court had finalised charges against Salman Khan and his other film colleagues in the endangered black buck killing case, paving way for start of the trial.
