Bangalore, Mar 23 (IBNS) The Karnataka government on Monday ordered for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the death of IAS officer DK Ravi.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah made the announcement in the state Assembly.
Siddaramaiah had earlier said he would make his stand on the death of IAS officer D K Ravi clear on the floor of the legislative assembly on Monday.
" I will give all the details on the floor of the House when the assembly is convened on Monday. I will give all the details surrounding the death of the officer. We have no intention of protecting anyone or concealing any of the facts relating to this case, " he said.
The demand for a CBI probe has been widespread from among political parties, social organisations and individuals of all sections of society.
