Modi to move to Berlin from Hannover
Hannover, Apr 13 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Germany in the second leg of his three-nation tour, will head to Berlin on Monday where he is expected to attend a community meeting hosted by the Indian Ambassador.
His first stopover in Germany was Hannover where he wooed the German business community to invest in India.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Syed Akbaruddin said, "the PM's main focus was to seek feedback on how India can move ahead in terms of easing lives for businessmen. He also assured the German business that they will see significant changes as time progresses because he has not laid out the framework and he is into the phase of implementation of that framework."
Modi is also likely to meet Netaji's grand nephew Subhash Chandra Bose in Berlin on Monday. His visit comes amid the row over snooping on the relatives of Subhas Chandra Bose. There were reports that certain Intelligence Bureau files showed that the Nehru government spied on Bose's family for 20 years between 1948 and 1968.
