MP governor's son, accused in MPPEB scam, found dead in Lucknow

Lucknow, Mar 25 (IBNS): Madhya Pradesh governor Ram Naresh Yadav's son Shailesh Yadav, who was an accused in the Professional Examination Board (PEB) scam, was found dead at his home in Lucknow on Wednesday morning.

Shailesh Yadav was found dead on the floor of his room in his family home.
 
According to reports, he died of a brain hemorrhage.
 
Ram Naresh Yadav, who has been governor since 2011, has been in the ICU for the past few days due to a breathing problem. He reportedly went to shock on hearing the news.
 
The scam is about manipulation in the selection process for government jobs conducted by the MPPEB by indulging in irregularities in the examination for the recruitment of grade ll and grade lll contractual teachers.
 
The STF, which has been probing the case, earlier lodged two FIRs against former technical education minister Laxmikant Sharma and 129 others, which is being probed by the STF.
 
The governor came on the radar of investigating agencies following his son, Shailesh's involvement in the scam.
 
Shailesh Yadav was reportedly summoned twice by the Special Investigation Team inquiring into the scam but did not appear.
