Narendra Modi leaves for home after completing his three-nation tour
New Delhi/Sydney: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday left for home after successfully concluding a three-nation tour.
During the three-nation tour, he visited Hiroshima, Japan, for the G7 and Quad summits, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, for the Third FIPIC Summit, and Sydney, Australia for a bilateral with the Australian leadership and a huge community event.
MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi, in a tweet, said: “A successful three nation tour concludes!"
“PM @narendramodi emplanes for Delhi following a three nation visit to Japan, Papua New Guinea and Australia, fostering stronger linkages with partner countries," he said,
PM Modi said his visit to Australia had been very useful and would boost the friendship between the two countries.
“From productive talks with PM @AlboMP to a historic community programme, from meeting business leaders to eminent Australians from different walks of life, it’s been an important visit which will boost the friendship between India and Australia.”

He thanked Australian PM Anthony Albanese and the government and people of Australia for the hospitality.
“I thank the people of Australia, the Australian Government and my dear friend @AlboMP for their hospitality. We will keep working towards a vibrant India-Australia friendship, which is also in the interest of global good.”
PM Modi left New Delhi on May 19 for the three-nation hectic tour packed with bilateral meetings, and meetings with the diaspora besides the three summit meetings, and an important bilateral with the Australian leadership.
