Kolkata, Apr 28 (IBNS) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is facing a tough challenge in campaign fending off questions on the Narada tapes showing her party Trinamool Congress's top ranking leaders accepting money assuring favours, said no one in her outfit is corrupt.

Speaking to a senior group of NDTV  led by its chief Prannoy Roy at a poll rally in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee said no one is corrupt in her party and the allegations are all a conspiracy by the Opposition led by Congress, BJP and Left.

"No one is corrupt," she said when told by Roy that it is a general perception that she is honest by her partymen are involved in corruption. She even asked the senior journalist how he would react if told that in his organisation only he is honest.

"There is an understanding between CPI-M, Congress and BJP against us. Else why they are doing it?" asked Mamata Banerjee, adding that after the polls the Left would be no where owing to their alliance with Congress.

She also brushed aside the allegation that they are against the Tatas, saying that in Singur she only objected to acquisition of 400 acres where landless labourers worked and she had not objection to granting the 600 acres to them even now.

She said Tatas are getting all tenders and working in Bengal without any problem.

Mamata Banerjee also said if Congress wanted a serious front against the BJP then they would have not attacked leaders like her or Arvind Kejriwal.

She said she would support Kejriwal politically.

West Bengal is undergoing a staggered six-phase election for 294 assembly seats, beginning on April 4 and ending on May 5.

TMC is pitted against an alliance of Congress and Left Front and the BJP.
