Omar condoles death of three cops in militant attack
Srinagar, Apr 6 (IBNS) Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday mourned the death of three policemen in a terror attack in the state.
"Grim reminder of the challenges in Kashmir, while we celebrate the colours of spring & try to attract tourists 3 brave policemen are killed," Abdullah tweeted.
"Corrected - My condolences to the families of the 3 policemen killed in the line of duty in #Shopian today. May their souls rest in peace," he said.
At least three policemen were killed as militants shot at them in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Monday, reports said.
The attack occurred when the policemen were on a patrolling duty.
